Token2 Handheld USB QR Code Scanner is a handheld image 2D QR-code and barcode scanner, with advanced image processing technology and high efficient transmission technology, the device can easily read a variety of 1D and 2D code. Token2 Handheld USB QR Code Scanner can be used as an input device for Token2 NFC Burner application for Windows, where the QR code for TOTP profile to be provisioned is shown on another device, where NFC Burner application cannot be launched. One of the use cases is enabling UserLock MFA access using Token2 programmable tokens.

Token2 NFC Burner application for Windows has a special feature allowing to read a TOTP QR code using the handheld QR-Code/Barcode reader. When clicking on 'QR / barcode reader' button, a dialog window appears prompting to use the USB reader: it is enough to point the device to a QR code and press its button - the application will automatically detect the QR code, extract the seed/secret key and populate the 'Seed(base32)' text field.

Token2 Handheld USB QR Code Scanner can also be used with any other application supporting direct HID input and requiring 1D or 2D code recognition.
